It is very possible to get the Canva for Nonprofits or Canva Pro plan for free, and that’s what I am going to share with you today in this article.
My own nonprofit, World Inspiring Network is currently using Canva Pro for free. So I am going to share with you the exact steps I used. Before we dive deep in, let’s explore what Canva is, what it is used for, the difference between Canva Pro and Canva for nonprofits, and much more.
What is Canva?
Canva is an Australian Graphic Design tool, used to create flyers, posters, presentations, videos, social media graphics, documents, and many more. The software includes countless templates for both novice and pro graphic designers to use. This means that even if you have no graphic design knowledge, you can easily use the templates available on the platform to create your own designs that make sense.
Canva for Nonprofits vs Canva Pro
With Canva Pro, you are required to subscribe to a payment plan which starts from $12.99/month/user if you decide to pay on monthly basis, and then $119.99/year/user if you decide to subscribe to the yearly plan which is approximately $10 a month. There are also team packages so if you decide to buy for your team, you can choose the Canva for teams package which covers up to 5 people.
Canva for Nonprofits on the other hand gives eligible nonprofits and their team access to Canva for Teams’ premium features for free, which includes the following:
- Access to premium images, videos, music, and other graphics
- Downloading designs with transparent backgrounds
- Upgraded Brand Kit: create more color palettes, and upload your own fonts and logos
- Publishing designs as team templates
- Sharing designs and folders with your team
- Using template share links
If you’re on a mission to create greater impact, Canva is there to support you with its platform in order to make your vision become a reality. With Canva, you can create quality flyers, animations, posters, PowerPoint presentations, reports, edit images, videos, etc. This will help you to communicate with your audiences through graphics without spending a penny.
